I'm stuck on the first one. It isn't working, or some details I don't know about.

I tracked three tracks from the same bear, got the pop-up message that I completed that part, then kept going, found the bear, looked at it with scope and binoculars, but the pop-up for spotting never came up. Figuring maybe I just missed seeing it somehow, I shot the bear and harvested. The mission did NOT complete.

Do those objectives have to be done in order? Spotting an animal only counts for a mission objective when you spot this animal for the first time in the hunt. So if you spotted the bear before you finished the tracking objective, you would have to find another bear that you hadn't spotted before.
