1st Zed McJack's Overall Best Hunter Comp. (Mule Deer Buck)

Hi all,

As was suggested in the other thread we are starting new kind of competition, based on rules I proposed. Here are the rules:

The specie: Mule deer buck
Weapons: Any permited

You can apply with any hunt you like from starting date to closing date. It should be the hunt where you collect as many bonus points as you can.

Bonus points are applied for:

1. The best scoring buck 20 points
2. The longest shot distance: over 100m 5 points, over 150m 10 points, over 200m 20 points
3. Equipment: bow and pistol kill get 10 points
4. The most animals in hunt: 3 points each
5. The longest hunt duration (each full hour 5p - up to 4 hours just to close this for exploitment as well, so 20 points max)

For the best scoring buck I apply the Over 1 hour hunt ratio. It is percentage of hunts over one hour long in the last 40(or less) hunts. So for example if there are 40 hunts in the hunt history of the player and 12 of them are longer then 1 hour O1HHR would be 30.00%.
So with a buck scoring 194.700 when I apply O1HHR of 30% the overall result would be 194.700*(30/100)=58.41

If the player had the best scoring buck of all participants he would get another 20 points, and so on for each bonus that applies. For this player the final result would be 78.41.

Lets see if everything is clear and if someone else would like to compete so we can decide when we are starting and when we will close.

Just now I figured out that to calculate O1HHR I would have to see your hunt history and to see that I have to have a link to your profile. Well, I tried search, but it works only for friends and I have none. Then I tried looking at Docs friends but there isnt any search there so I could only look through listed names and I havent found any of you guys.
The two solutions are
1. to befriend each other or;
2. to give me a link to the competition that you joined and tell me your final position. Over that link I can see the hunt history, that will I need to calculate O1HHR. (it can be Private mail here)

Go to your page and click on "Friends" it should be right below your avatar. Now key in any name and you will be brought to their page. I think you should be able to check the participators that way. Peace.

PS: I guess I should also mention you should ask participators to use their in game nick name. Because, some ppl use different names for the forums... and so you won't find them that way. BTW, I haven't many friends either, I prefer to read friends on the forum. I find the in game chat thing a bit useless, so I don't use it.
