To quote from another source (Thanks, ItIsTom!):
Yes, there will be new clothing in Doc's Outfitters! 👍

As for now, I recommend to have your notifications enabled for when the Halloween Event Part II drops. Definitely keep an eye on (Discord server news channel)".
Notifications enabled....where? How?
Discord? I'm not on it and won't be. I'll just login to the launcher Wednesday night and Thursday morning. We can also watch Steam's library list for the game needing an update 😉👍
I hear ya! That is a fiasco in the least. I don't use it either and haven't missed out on anything spectacular, so I'll avoid it as well. We'll keep the non Advocats of Discord up to date here, as it should be. Discord stuff can remain on Discord. To be honest I don't even know how a Discord moderator managed to become a mod here.  I joke ofc- but I do wonder. :)

I've refrained from stating my dislike for Discord. The name itself is not appealing. I avoid all social networks, that's my personal choice.
Sadly there's an integration extension for these forums that I hope never gets installed here. I will stop using these forums if it does.

Agreed
You think that's funny? I'm having connection problems right now and the hunting tracks disappear immediately, which I've never experienced before.
This is an old issue. Unfortunately, it happens that the tracks of an animal disappear after tracked another set of tracks. And when the missing tracks are from a high score animal, it's really annoying, In my opinion, when you tracked a wounded animal, the tracks should never disappear until the end of that game. A fix to this issue would be desirable.

I've never had this problem before, the traces of the wounded animal are fresh but disappearing. At the moment the game management menu doesn't open at all. :(

We argued in the support section of the forum, about these additional issues popped up with the latest Halloween event. Actually there are many new problems, in game as in simple loading stats pages into the launcher and browser.

Yes, disappearing tracks, dysfunctional game management page, dysfunctional lifetime statistics on the website...these are major bugs. It doesn't sit well with me that some of these major bugs go on and on. These are key features of the game that are buggy. When we say these are "old game issues", it should have been fixed a long time ago. How frustrating it is to see these problems persist and stack up.

The other day I shot a Puma on Timbergold with my bow, it ran off, and there were no tracks to read. This turned me off from the game for now. Yes I'm excited for Halloween II, and am in no rush to see it. However these major bugs I find disenchant my enjoyment of this game generally.

Two of the three things you listed were fixed, and have worked for a long time now. The Halloween event that they struggled to put out (and did so because most people wanted it despite them blatantly saying there are issues with the game) broke them again.

Tracks have disappeared for as long as I've played, so at least 8 years now. It generally only happened on specific maps and it wasn't particularly common to encounter. Clearly it's happening more frequently since the Halloween event. The game has gone through several different teams since I've joined and it has never been completely fixed. I don't take that as they've all sat back and twiddled their thumbs and laughed at people who lost trophies to disappearing tracks. I take that as it's a difficult if not impossible bug to fix in the current state of the game.

Also when I joined, the personal best feature didn't work at all. And it didn't for years. It was eventually fixed and has worked for several years now up until... the Halloween event.

The game management tab used to not exist. It was a wonderful tool when they released it but it didn't work for everyone at first either. I seem to recall some of the issues had to do with certain browsers. That eventually was fixed for everyone as well. It just broke a couple weeks ago during... the Halloween event.

While the devs haven't exactly given us a breakdown of the problems they've been facing, they have made it pretty clear since the cancellation of the summer fiesta that they have a new team working on the game, the game coding itself is held together with gum and toothpicks, and that they're having serious issues with the coding. They didn't want to disappoint folks with no fiesta, but the problem persisted for long enough that they didn't have a choice but to cancel. With Halloween being one of the biggest events of the year and having already disappointed fans once, they didn't want to miss it either. They delayed it and did the best they could, but clearly the release triggered a lot of issues-- new and old. That doesn't mean they've given up on the game or refuse to ever fix issues. They're clearly struggling, and even told us that, and then folks are still getting frustrated by their attempts to at least try to give us a good time.

Try to be positive. They've fixed two of those bugs before and one wasn't so much an issue as it is now. They'll likely do so again. But as with everything in this game, it likely won't be fast and there will be likely be different issues we encounter along the way.

At least, I think that pretty well describes the game I've played for years. If you all ever played a truly bug free game at any point... we must have been playing different games.

The changing of dev hands (again) is news to me. I must have missed that bit when I took a hiatus from this game.

Positive? Well, it's so wonderful to be alive. :D

Personally I'm not in a rush for the announced second Halloween event. It will be nice when it happens. These special events are fun. They're also intense and throw my routine off balance as they consume a lot of my energy to get the most out of them when they happen. I tend to spend far more time in this game during special events than I normally would or what I can normally afford to spend in a game. The special events are great. No rush! No pressure from me! Some of us will be better off if nothing fun happens in this game. Personally, I'm quite okay with the fact that I'm not being distracted too much by this game. Yay for being less distracted by anything! Again, honest feedback. If this game sucks, I win because I'm not being distracted by sucky things. :D

If you want "positive" I'm a rare breed of human that understands that if I do NOT get my money's worth out of something, I'm 1,000 times likely NOT to purchase anything more from anything that is like the thing that I learn is crap. I learn from crap. I'm a fast learner. I'm not crap myself. I am gold. I'm a fool sometimes yes. But I am gold. I'm not a good person to sell to. I take it very personally when people try to sell me things. I'm not a good employee. I'm good at being a Master. I'm a fool plenty of times don't get me wrong. I'm more suited as a Master. That is my natural state. I thrive if I get no fun out of these games. I thrive if I do NOT get my money's worth from what I paid for. It points me to where it was distracting me from. It is just fine for me if this game goes down in flames no matter my past investments. If I'm bored, I fly high. Because I naturally find my way where I am meant to be.

Whatever people want to say, from my perspective if I'm enjoying this game, wonderful! Great work EW! If I'm boring of it, I see that as purposeful good. I have better fish to fry always all the time...no exception. Everything that was not created by myself is a distraction by default.

TT, probably the most beautiful reserve of ER, unfortunately has always been one of the most buggy reserve for disappearing tracks along with animals. Especially in Timbergold your shots have to be very accurate, settling accounts with the animal immediately, otherwise you have to cross your fingers :)

Yes, I mean we can take it or leave it as far as our "luck" goes. I know it is not enough to chalk it up to skill. We can think we are talking about skill. That doesn't quite get at the matter.

Maybe others have experienced this? I've had days where I'm spot on point with my shooting where I'm picking off animals left and right as if it were effortless. I've also had days where nothing is going right. My shots suck. The animals I'm shooting are not my luck. It's not exactly about skill. There's luck. There's the randomness of the game. There's also the mental state I'm in when I'm hunting at the time. A bad hunt is not the end of the world. An error of the tracks occasionally is not the end of the world. If I'm having these issues often and wasting hours and hours of gameplay on a buggy sucky game, well...that remains to be seen.

Personally, stacked bugs in this game means I am bound to have an awakening. That awakening may not mean that I remain a fan of this game in the future if these things do not get sorted out. I naturally look at the bright side of things. The bright side of things doesn't include wasting my time on petty things. Let's not over exaggerate this. There is a time and place for everything. I don't enjoy the feeling that I have wasted my time. I don't enjoy the feeling that I have wasted my money on a crappy game or crappy things. I move on. I will not sell myself on crap. As I've said before, some of us are better off if this game sucks. If I get bored of this game, I'd be better off.

No pressure from me to the devs to bring a fantastic game! For me, I'm sort of caught in this in-between state of anticipating this Halloween II event. Honestly, I want to completely forget about this game and never look back. It's these special events that keep me coming back. I want to participate in these events. And then I want to forget about this game and get down to business as normal.
