Missing equipment (tent) in inventory?

In my last hunt on Timbergold yesterday, something seemed strange as I looked at the number of trapper tents in my inventory that I had available. It seemed like I had (1) less tent than I should. I couldn't confirm this to be absolutely sure.

The thing is, I remember that recently when the 'trapper tend was on-sale' a few days ago, I purchased (1) trapper tend on-sale. Then I started a hunt on Timbergold that day (a few days ago), and when I looked in my inventory and saw how many trapper tends I had available that weren't already placed on a reserve map, I distinctly remember thinking, "Oh! I have (6) trapper tends now, plus a few other tends. I have a lot more tents available than I thought!". Then, during that hunt I equiped one of my trapper tends and carried it with me throughout that hunt. At the end of the hunt I placed that trapper tent back in my inventory after deploying it.

Later, on my last hunt on Timbergold I saw that I have (5) trapper tends available in my big inventory. 1 less than I remember having. I looked on the map to be sure I didn't place a trapper tend somewhere on my last hunt. No I didn't. Was the 6th tent equiped and 5 tends free in my big inventory? No. I could only count (5) trapper tends total this time that I have freely available to use that aren't already deployed. I can not account for the 6th trapper tend I remember having after purchasing it in the store recently. It seems like a tent disappeared, though I can't be 100% sure of this.

Not sure what to do about that? I'm mentioning this though to say that it might be a good idea to take notes of what items you own and how many. It is not unheard of for deployable items to go missing on rare occasions.

As it is, this game doesn't make it particularly convenient and easy to know what you own without starting a hunt and opening up your inventory (in game). Which is frustrating. It should be very easy to know exactly what you own in this game without having to open up the game.

Personally, I have a journal book on paper that lists every weapon I own. I'm now thinking of extending that and listing out every major piece of equipment and gear I own, both in my big inventory as well as equipment items that have been deployed that are currently located in game on reserves, and listing where those items are located.
