RME?

Post by OldMtnMan »

What's up with the RME? No competitions for two days. Only one for Roosevelt. Is the game slowing down that much? Who chooses the competitions?

Who makes up the competitions and can anybody do it? I'd like to make one.

Ah, ok. I feel better now. I never paid attention to the League comps. Can I just join this elk comp? That's pretty much all I hunt.

Ok, good. It looks like they want us to use one attempt per day. Only 5 days left, so I have a couple to spare.

One question. Why do they say animal must be shot on the defined reserve? RME are only on Timbergold and over the border wouldn't count. Is there some other meaning i'm missing?

edit....One more. This is a League. Do I have to join the League or is it open to everybody?

Tough competition. I couldn't get better than a 396 and that got me 23rd so far. There's 17 over 400. I was at 11th after the first day but that didn't last long. I've always been unlucky finding trophy's. (In the game. I had no interest in real hunting.)

Yeah. I tried a couple of the league comps early on and realized with that many people competing your chances of finishing in the top ten are pretty slim unless you do 20 hour hunts or something. So I turned to just doing the regular comps. I'm definitely going to do the Sambar and Rusa comps when the league gets to them because I enjoy hunting them so much, but otherwise I lost interest in doing the league comp a while ago.

I agree. I'll just do the regular comps.

I think i'll hang out on Whitehart for awhile. Kind of burned out on TGT and RFF.

Give Settler Creeks a try for Roosie's Pete. It's one the most underrated maps in the game. It's covered in very thick underbrush with lots of little hills, gullies, valleys, and sinkholes. Plenty of landmarks too, and permanent structures to exploit, like abandoned barns. Outstanding for archery hunters and just as challenging as TGT. Give it a go. You'll thank me later. :) Jimbo
