The legality of hunting in a group, known as drive hunting, and the use of tactics to drive animals to a specific location for mass slaughter varies by jurisdiction and depends on the laws and regulations of the specific country or state in question. Some places may allow it, while others may prohibit it or regulate it through specific guidelines and restrictions. It is always best to consult with local authorities or regulations to determine the rules and laws related to hunting in your area.
Mass slaughter is a good way to word it. I'm baffled why hunters don't want to hunt in a fair humane way. Real or game.

It has been part of European hunting tradition for a very long time. And has been used by humans in general for far longer. This is a question of tradition.

Well said. It's an ancient form of hunting, practised by man since time immemorial & still practised today. Why would playing multi player, socialising with friends in a game be against a games rules anyway.

So was being hung for stealing a horse. Times change. It takes little hunting skill and gives the animal no chance.

It's a game. Do as you please. I have strong opinions on hunting methods and maybe I voice it too much. Not everybody agrees with me but some do.

One way to judge hunting methods is to see if it's legal in all the states. If it's not something is wrong with it. Driving is one example of illegal in some states. Baiting is another example. Some guns and ammo are too. The know nothing about the rest of the world and how they hunt. I just hunted the US and I do the same in games.

The best tasting meat will be from an animal that doesn't know you're there and is calm. Dropping that animal on the spot will give good meat. If it runs before or after the shot. Hormones will be released and the meat won't taste as good. Of course this won't apply in game unless you're trying to keep it real.

I agree with you: there are other games to shoot anyhow and anything. .The pretext "it's a game" and not worth anything exasperates me because hunting is a state of mind! This game is the best in the world!
Here in France "val des bois for example where I live" group hunting is prohibited (except in Paris! For hunting at school!) but not to touch wolves and bears and foxes who massacre our sheep and others! Here is my outburst in bad English!
Forgiveness for my english...
