I've checked full screen only. Going to test windowed mode right now and will report back.

Also from time to time the FPS drops to about 20 from 60 and the only solution is to ALT+TAB the game and return.

EDIT: It happens in windowed mode too.

No problem, I really want everyone to have the best experience as possible so these kind of issues are very important to investigate. :)
I run windowed

Could be by accident but got nearly the same freezes with actual nvidia-driver, rollback to previous version fixed it for me.
If I remember right I saw some tdr-errors in the log with the actual driver.
Now offline. Forever.

I haven't noticed an fps drop but I have been getting some freeze lock ups, lasts about 2-3 seconds.
Luckily it only happens about once or twice every few hunts. (before patch I wasn't gettting any freezing)
I have over 1337 kills with my Longbow at 100% kill rate.

I have this in Hemmeldal. It happens when a animal is in range.

It happens me too, like Radamus it discribed. The skip takes a bit longer, when animals are in range.

Same here.
I don't have a powerful PC, but I have ~50 FPS on TgT and BRR and ~60 FPS on other reserves. But sometimes FPS drop to about 30 for about one minute then it comes back to normal!

I've checked different drivers today and the problem still exists.

However nice to hear that it is OK for you now :)

MM, I think the earlier posts explained so that now, when we have that skip, an animal is in render range - I know we didn't have this "animal alert" before but I'm seeing a correlation, wouldn't bet my wallet on it yet, but it seems to fit.

I have experienced this "freeze" as well. Not as often as some of you, and I also think it has something to do with animals.

"Contextual Help" is enabled, and freezing mostly occurs when the window "you just spooked an animal because it saw you/heard you" appears.

Since that window does not show up every time you spook an animal, I used to think it was somehow related to spooking.....or maybe whenever an animal shows up in render, as Radamus says......I will keep an eye on this and share my future experiences.......
