Game Lore | Thoughts on Names and Brands

Post by Dubitabilus »

After the addition of the Maisto 12GA Semi-Automatic Shotgun, I started wondering about the names and brands in theHunter Classic.
Below is an almost comprehensive compilation of the "unique" names and brands I could find for the various objects in the game.

Why post this?
I was just fascinated with the creativity and level of detail placed into developing the reality of the EHR.
I'm totally looking forward to the new creative ideas that are headed our way.
It seems as if the EW team is polishing the game's NPCs.
Keep up the good work guys!

The silver bolts and .308 silver bullets for the Halloween event are manufactured by Van Mythical Weapons and Softdrinks Co.

And Wolfsbane is also the name of the Halloween event crossbow pistol.

And as it was already mentioned in another thread, both 7mm-08 Scout Bolt Action Rifles have a Scout Rifle Airstrip One, Oceania inscription, referring to George Orwell's 1984.

Good Catch!
Totally forgot about the Halloween Brands.

On a more realistic note, does EW/Avalanche plan on ever doing licensing agreements with other IRL brands in the future?
We already have Aimpoint, Anschütz, Blaser, Boone & Crockett, Nosler, Parker, & Tenpoint.

Hello again,

the GPS for dogs is made by Matu Industries, a little bit different from the ammo manufacturer.

Nothing is more stylish than an official Happy Camper Beanie! Use it impress the wildlife of the Hemmeldal reserve with your good looks or wear it indoors to annoy your parents.

The possibilities are endless when you rock this all american* Happy Camper product!

*A small number of processes like design, textile work, packaging and shipping of the product take place overseas.

This description for the happy camper beanie cracked me up when I saw it.
