I can just agree here. (Going back ontopic) Sometimes I can Even hunt them on sight there. Doing completely nothing.

I was trying Flanker305 Coyote route (Original version) extensively these days with very good results in rather long hunts (2 hrs real time and longer). My usual coyote route is tarting from tent placed on land bridge between WH North and WH South at 7 a.m. heading South and then anticlockwise along the shore area down to finger ponds and from them back north to starting point.
Equipment and tactics: I allway carry a TS in my backpack due quite random nature of Coyote spawns. Preffered weapon any bow or crossbow, note avoid to use rifles or pistols if posible it will scatter doggies across all map and they will not react to calls or rejoin their original packs for prolonged period of time. Usualy I will wait for coyote call in rare case when I spot a coyote then i will try eliminate him silently from ground then set up an ambush. Usually I am staying at a TS for maximum period of 20 mins real time if no doggies will come, if they are incoming I will wait for some 10 game minutes after last kill. then I am calling again just in case and waiting for some 5 more minutes. if nothing is coming in and other animals started calling in close range then is time to dismantle my Ts and move forward some 300-400 metres and wash rinse repeat.
Results from my last Coyote hunts:
Hunt 1: 9 killed/12 spotted note: Rifle hunt
Hunt 2: 15 killed/17 spotted note: Bow hunt
Hunt 3: 19 killed/21 spotted note: Bow hunt
Average yield per ambush 4 doggies at once.
