Re: Any photographers here?
I like to go out in the foggy weather every now and then to shoot some photos with nice rays. Just sticking the led torch(es) into different positions and testing how the results look...

Really cool photos Columbo! Also love your photos DarkHunter, especially the one with the deer silhouettes. Nice work both.

Interesting shots Columbo with very cool effects. But in the whole thread I can see many great photos.

Nice photographs, Spencer! I love the rhinos banging their heads... or noses!

Thanks! The rhino pic was my favorite & the wife's favorite as well. I'm considering entering it into an annual competition coming up in the next month. It'll print out with a little more contrast and I think it'll look good on B&W paper.Tanngnjostr wrote:Nice photographs, Spencer! I love the rhinos banging their heads... or noses!

Very impressive photos indeed. Rhino skin is the ultimate texture for black and white. Good luck with the competition if you enter it.

Thanks! Yeah, it's all about texture and contrast, and their skin looks so much better in B&W. Last time, I was runner-up in the Architecture category and got invited to the showing, but didn't win anything in the finals. The competition was absolutely stunning photography, so was just happy to get as far as I did. Here were the results: http://www.ozarkphotochallenge.org/2017 ... -images-2/ with mine being the sunset on the old bridge.caledonianblues wrote:Very impressive photos indeed. Thanks HooCairs! He looked like he was sleeping and was turned the other way, but I set up on him and my son kept calling to him until he rolled over like that. It was pretty neat because he looked right at me for a brief few seconds.HooCairs wrote:Nice pictures Hawkeye! I like the lion!
