Too much scared and timid, they made brown bears like black bears. The black bear is a timid and vegetarian animal, while the brown bear is much bigger, not as timid, carnivorous and much more aggressive. In the Alps the last few years have been counted few brown bear attacks on humans and many attacks on other animals. Grizzly is very aggressive too, but they've switched it from scary animal to scared sheep. It's a shame. But now nothing will change.

Where I live, black bears are not strictly vegetarian. They eat grubs, scavenge for carcasses, and will attack smaller, weaker animals if given the opportunity. I don't know much about brown bears though.

Yes, but its nutrition is mostly based on vegetables and anyway its nature is definitely different from that of brown bear.

All bears are omnivores.
