CVA Percussion .50 Caliber Muzzleloader Mountain Pistol
Hi friends. Watching videos of hunting with pistols and muzzleloaders I came across this one with this video where a guy uses the CVA Percussion .50 Caliber Muzzleloader Mountain pistol. I found it interesting and it would be fun to see another muzzleloader in the game with a more classic and older look like this one, plus it would add more content to the game. We currently have a classic .50 muzzleloader rifle and I think it wouldn't be too complicated to add another weapon to the game with the same function but in pistol. What do you think? I leave you the link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZCQgDH0gDo&t=141s

Are you aware that we have a .50 caliber muzzleloading pistol in the game already? You can find it in the store under it's own category of muzzleloading pistols, or you can find it HERE.juanmi650 wrote:We currently have a classic .50 muzzleloader rifle and I think it wouldn't be too complicated to add another weapon to the game with the same function but in pistol.
Or are you looking for a caplock muzzleloading pistol specifically to be added to the game? I wouldn't be opposed. I haven't used the inline muzzleloading pistol yet myself but the rifles are a fun change of pace, so I like to recommend them to anyone looking for a more immersive, traditional hunting experience.

First of all thanks for answering friend. I knew we had a modern muzzleloading .50 pistol. Adding another .50 muzzleloader pistol was what I was referring to. But with an older look like the old .50 muzzleloader. As I say it would be interesting and fun. And yes mate, I use muzzleloading .50 rifles and pistols and especially the old .50 muzzleloading rifle, my favorite. As you say, I highly recommend them.xOEDragonx wrote:Are you aware that we have a .50 caliber muzzleloading pistol in the game already? Look friends I found another video of another hunter using another .50 muzzle-loading pistol: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6lJ0RgJcis The truth is that I keep thinking about it and I would love to see this weapon in the game . As I said, I would add more content to the game and another type of .50 muzzle-loading pistol, being the second in the game but with an old look. This would be the same as the muzzle-loading rifles, with a current model and an old model.

I always wanted to hunt for deer with an old Hawken pistol. The problem is Colorado is as dumb as a rock and said they don't have enough power for deer. I was going to use a .54 cal too.
Once again the video proves Colorado knows nothing about muzzleloaders.
I'd like to see one in Classic. It would be good for deer and a backup for bear hunting.

And there will be no possibility that they add it? It would be a shame if they didn't add it. Like I said in previous posts, it would add more content to the game and muzzleloader style guns, plus it would be a lot of fun to play with and hunt old fashioned with a gun like that.OldMtnMan wrote:I always wanted to hunt for deer with an old Hawken pistol. When I mentioned Colorado i'm talking about real hunting. Not the game.
I'd like to see it in game but I doubt they'll think it's important enough to do it. We can only hope.

Thanks friend for replying again. I knew you meant real life. I hope they add it. As you say, we can only wait. I'm also glad that there are people like you who would like to see this beautiful weapon in the game. It gives me hope that it can come true.OldMtnMan wrote:When I mentioned Colorado i'm talking about real hunting. Not the game.

The problem is muzzleloaders aren't very popular. I've hunted with a Hawken all my life (I'm 79) and since the 1950's i've never seen anther hunter using a muzzleloader.juanmi650 wrote:Thanks friend for replying again. I knew you meant real life. One of he hunting forums i'm on is very strict and we can only talk about muzzleloaders from the 1700's to early 1800's. We all use replica guns from that era. We took a survey once on age. There was only 4 guys who were younger than 55. Once us old guys are gone it will be all inline muzzleloaders which are horrible. They use scopes, modern bullets and powder. They can kill at 300 yds. That's not muzzleloader hunting. Real muzzleloaders know the limits of their guns and have learned over the years to get close to the animals for humane kills. If I can't smell the elk i'm about to shoot. I'm too far away. Not that hard. Bull Elk stink.

WOW! Congratulations friend! I am delighted to have met a veteran hunter and muzzleloader specialist. I am 26 years old, I am from Spain. I love old muzzleloaders very much and I want to know much more about them. I wish they put that precious pistol in and we can enjoy it in the game.OldMtnMan wrote:The problem is muzzleloaders aren't very popular.
