Welcome to Curly's Hammeldal Park!
Hello everyone!
I had this great idea to try to open an 8 visitor park in Hammeldal. Basically its Hammeldal but with a lot of equipment for bear hunting, reindeer hunting, all kinds of hunting including but not limited to Raindeer Drives and Target Aim mini-comps.
There will also be "Main Attractions", which will be like special things in the park that makes it look different from any other map that you will be able to visit. My goal is to promote coordinated multiplayer hunts, drives and target mini-comps.
So, I wanted to welcome all of you to Curly's Hammeldal Park!
This park has 8 tents
15 Treestands
4 Bear barrels
5 Tripods
4 Blinds
6 Man-madeTowers (some are under construction)
2 Waterflow blinds
2 Lynx callers
7 Flags
5 Targets
And WAY too many geese decoys to count
This set up can be used for pretty much anything you can think of, traditional roam hunting, stationary hunting, waterfowl hunting (you can at least try ), driven hunts (5-8 people), aim practice on targets and the only limit is your imagination
This is how I want to conduct driven hunts on this map
Heres the simple idea, people choose their flags and follow the line, BUT we need the people on the edge to get ahead so they can keep the animals in the drive by spooking them near the middle of the path where 3 drivers are. The vertical lines are like checkpoints, people cannot go past them unless instructed to do so. Another principle I use during the drive is to not shoot at most animals, so unlucky people still get the chance to see some monsters in the end (hopefully a 700+ reindeer ). I like people to shoot at least every 150 meters and bring as much ammo as they can carry. I have tried driving whiteheart island with 5 people about 9 months ago for like 3 month's straight and it worked very well with me being the leader and instructing the drivers where they should move and how much more often they should shoot.
Aim practice (possible mini-comps (if anyone wants to sponsor them they are welcome to do so, especially DEYUZ)).
Heres the idea, since I have 5 targets, we can make it so people take turns shooting at them from the tower or treestand and whoever gets the most points at the end of 5 targets wins respect and my claps.
Here are all the targets (all 200 meters away)
The target above was eventually moved to a spot where you can actually see it, sadly I dont have a picture of it
Long range shooting.
I have a flag set up on a spot where you can try getting the longest shot on Hammeldal exclusive animals like reindeer, to try to get into the hall of fame (Which HooCairs is pretty good at).
And now finally what you have all been waiting for...
THE ATTRACTIONS
Some geese drinking water near a pond, proof that geese exist in Hammeldal.
More geese enjoying a nice drink by a pond.
Some female turkeys having a LOOOONG stare-off.
Cool kids blind near the lodge where you can hang out and sleep in.
Turkey making friends with geese (Evolution at its finest)
This server was made so people can find friends, hunt together and experience the full potential of a not so popular reserve. I hope I did not waste too much of your time.
I will post any future plans and updates here, like the times I'm able to open the server, my goal is to be able to host 6-hour hunts on my map while I'm not at home.
Please put any comments, concerns, and suggestions down below.
The Grand Opening of the park is scheduled for Sunday the 3rd.
Thank you for all your time!

That's a fun (and a bit crazy) idea, but surely sounds and looks nice. Too bad I'll be out all Sunday, I would've loved to be part of the "Grand Opening", but I'll have to visit a bit later...
