These competitions will last 48 hours! Keep your eyes open for the next!

I’ll be using a point system- 1st Place 6 points, 2nd Place 5 points, 3rd place 3 points, per mini-comp win. You will need 30 points to get a payout of 1000EM$. Anything over 30 points gets carried over to your next score.

Non-participation in any mini-comp does not subtract from any points you accumulate. Your points accumulate with each and every win!

30 points = 1000EM$.

All submissions must be made in the English language.

STARTS: Saturday 2023-02-11 16:00 (4:00 PM PDT)
ENDS: Monday 2023-02-13 16:00 (4:00 PM PDT)

Host can compete for points.

DESCRIPTION
Grizzly Bear

WEAPONS
Any Ethical Handgun (Muzzleloading Pistol- is not a handgun)

SCORING
Combined Score + Weight in kgs. (-) 5 for every shot greater than one.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

GENDER SPECIFIC: None
PLATFORMS ALLOWED: No
SAME HUNT: No
DISTANCE REQUIREMENT: None
ATTEMPTS: 3 - Total number of attempts on comp reserve allowed.
SUBMITTED ANIMALS MUST BE HARVESTED: within the first 5 hours Real Time of the hunt. Incudes Pauses.
SHOT PLACEMENT: Intestines must not be hit. Other organs can be hit
SUBMITTED ANIMALS MUST DIE FROM ONE SHOT: *No
IMPROVEMENTS: Yes
OTHER ANIMALS CAN BE HARVESTED: Yes
TIE BREAKER: Combined furthest distance wins.
*ROE: Once your Attempts are used up- the ROE is no longer in effect.

Game Mode:

SP only.
*MP hunts on comp reserves must have at least one animal harvested or it will count as a SP hunt. MP hunts do not count toward Attempts/Attempt Time.


STANDARD REQUIREMENTS

Hunts should be submitted immediately after completing the hunt. Max 90 min. (No Sandbagging)
NOTE: If you start another hunt before submitting, your previous hunt is not eligible.
Hunts must start after the competition starts, and end before the competition ends to be valid.

*Hunt start times on competition reserves must be 30 minutes apart. (No Spawnmashing)

If you have a 16 minute hunt you must wait 14 minutes to start another hunt. Hunts < 5 minutes long with no distance traveled, no animals spotted or tracked (disconnects, can't connect to server) are exempt from this rule.

Conditions

I will be participating for points. I reserve the right to modify the rules and terms of this competition at any time between the date and time of this post, and the start of the competition. I also reserve the right to cancel this competition at any time. I reserve the right to disqualify any participant at my discretion for any reason, including but not limited to: cheating, unsportsmanlike conduct, harassment, spawn-mashing, et. al. Discrepancies & ambiguities in the rules or scoring will be addressed by the competition host as expediently as possible.

Clarification Please -Is that -5 per each posted bear or for all the shots fired for the entire hunt? Example, If I shoot a bear twice it would be a -5 or if I take 6 shots on the hunt and post 1 bear is it a -25?

Whatever Bear you might submit that was hit with multiple shots- you would subtract 5 per every hit that is greater than one (1 hit). A bear shot 3xs would be -10, a bear shot 4xs times would be -15 and so on. The first hit is obviously a freebie anything above that, no matter how many times it was hit, you'd subtract 5 for each hit over and beyond the 1st.

There ya go! The simple solutions are often the best. You don't always need to do all the math...)

I thought I'll need to sit this one out, fortunately found out my werewolf weapon .308 "Wolfsbane" can use regular ammo.
Not much experience hunting Bears, Grizzly in particular. It will be an adventure more than regular hunt.

That is exactly why I purchased that version... as well as the wolfsbane crossbow pistol. One weapon, two different ammo, can use all year long.

For the Deer species that .308 Pistol is pretty decent, and you can get a good range too. Get close to the Griz tho', it'll knock 'em down.
