These competitions will last 48 hours! Keep your eyes open for the next!

I’ll be using a point system- 1st Place 6 points, 2nd Place 5 points, 3rd place 3 points, per mini-comp win. You will need 30 points to get a payout of 1000EM$. Anything over 30 points gets carried over to your next score.

Non-participation in any mini-comp does not subtract from any points you accumulate. Your points accumulate with each and every win!

30 points = 1000EM$.

All submissions must be made in the English language.

RULES & CONDITIONS

SPECIES: 2 Cottontail, 2 Mallard, 2 Northern Pintail (Birds can be shot airborne or swimming)
RESERVES: Loggers Point, Rougarou Bayou

STARTS: Thursday 2022-10-27 16:00 (4:00 PM PDT)
ENDS: Saturday 2022-10-29 16:00 (4:00 PM PDT)

Host can compete for points.

Cottontail, Mallard, Pintail.

WEAPONS
Any Ethical Ammo

Combined (Score)

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

PLATFORMS ALLOWED: Yes
SAME HUNT: No
DISTANCE REQUIREMENT: None
ATTEMPTS: 4 - Total number of attempts on comp reserve allowed.
SUBMITTED ANIMALS MUST BE HARVESTED: within the first 5 hours Real Time of the hunt. Incudes Pauses.
SHOT PLACEMENT: None
SUBMITTED ANIMALS MUST DIE FROM ONE SHOT: Yes.
IMPROVEMENTS: Yes
OTHER ANIMALS CAN BE HARVESTED: Yes
MULTIPLAYER ALLOWED: Rougarou Bayou only.
TIE BREAKER: Combined furthest distance.
*ROE: Once your Attempts are used up- the ROE is no longer in effect.

SP ONLY - Only Single Player hunts are allowed.
*MP hunts on Loggers Point must have at least one animal harvested or it will count as a SP hunt. MP hunts are allowed on Rougarou Bayou only.

STANDARD REQUIREMENTS

Hunts should be submitted immediately after completing the hunt. Max 90 min. (No Sandbagging)
NOTE: If you start another hunt before submitting, your previous hunt is not eligible.
Hunts must start after the competition starts, and end before the competition ends to be valid.
Minimum hunt duration is 30 minutes Real Time (No Spawnmashing)
Hunt start times must be 30 minutes apart.

If you have a 16 minute hunt you must wait 14 minutes to start another hunt. Hunts < 5 minutes long with no distance traveled, no animals spotted or tracked (disconnects, can't connect to server) are exempt from this rule.

I will be participating for points. I reserve the right to modify the rules and terms of this competition at any time between the date and time of this post, and the start of the competition. I also reserve the right to cancel this competition at any time. I reserve the right to disqualify any participant at my discretion for any reason, including but not limited to: cheating, unsportsmanlike conduct, harassment, spawn-mashing, et. al. Discrepancies & ambiguities in the rules or scoring will be addressed by the competition host as expediently as possible.

Ah... every time that duck come up in the rotation again, I remember the first time I did these, you allowed for MP games as there were a few of us that had NO setups. I was offered assistance by both Rad & xOED, and those were my first MP games. It seems like eons ago, but it must have only been 2, 3 years tops. Good times!!!

Hello everyone. why not allow MP on Rougarou Bayou ? my friend St_Loki has no decoys for ducks and therefore will miss this competition. I think the MP game won't affect the result much

Perhaps only on the Bayou, I would allow MP. If I do, I'll change it before the comp starts. If not, nothing will change. I'm not much of an advocate for MP hunts during a competition. What do others think- Yes to MP on the Bayou only, or not?

I feel because the ducks do require duck setups (blind, decoys, callers) to have any real success, I like the idea of allowing for an MP game. However, I think that the intention to do an MP hunt could be announced before ("I'll be hunting with 'player-name' as a host") or should be noted when posting the score (Attempt 1, hosted by 'player-name': ) But, yes, if allowed here, ONLY on the Bayou.

Hope they fix the glitch that is there now, sounds like a jumbo jet going overhead whenever a flock of ducks approach

I hadn't heard that before, but sure enough, as I went there tonight to see if what I had would work, some of the flocks DID make an awful engine sound! Not all, though, since I'd gues just one duck species is involved with it?
